Acts 2:1-18 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature" ❤️ II Corinthians 5:17

"'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word." Trust is one of the most difficult things to give, but regardless of the paths God leads us down, we can absolutely trust that He has our lives in His hands. What joy there is in knowing that He has it all under control!
If you were wondering on Monday how you would ever make it to Friday, guess what? ❤️ We are also thanking God that today is Friday, but partly because that means that our Sunday services are only two days away! Oh, and, if you were wondering where you got the strength to make it this far, or how you'll keep going, check out Psalm 27 and Psalm 121!
Pastor Jonathan Alvear's message last night truly was eye opening! As daunting as crossing the Red Sea may have seemed, and while, on paper, it may have seemed like the long way around, it saved them from certain battles, death, and defeat of their morale if God had led them through the "short route". What were your favorite takeaways from the message? Let us know below!! ❤️
What are you hoping for? From peace in our country and help for hurricane victims to just making it through the rest of the week, what are you asking God for today? We are hoping to see you tonight at 7:30 for our mid-week Bible study service! Like, share, and tell us what you're hoping for down below! ❤️
Our hearts go out to the people in the Texas and Louisiana communities that have been and are still being devastated by Hurricane Harvey. While they deal with all of the emotions of this type of national catastrophe, join with us in prayer for those affected, the first responders, the volunteers, and those in positions of authority. We often speak about the trials of life as storms that God can help us through. May God grant peace during this very real storm and strength enough to rebuild when it's through. #PrayForHouston
What helps you wake up in the morning? We've got to be honest... One of the best things about a new morning is new mercies. Read more about it in Lamentations 3:22-23! Have an amazing Tuesday! ❤️
We are beyond grateful to God for what He did for our church last week during our revival with Evangelist Matthew Crider! From the first service to the last we heard about finding the fullness of God's promise in each of our lives and discovering the freedom that God wants us to experience to worship and follow Him more deeply than ever before. See it for yourself this Wednesday! Our service starts at 7:30. We can't wait to meet you! ❤️
Good morning!!! It's revival Sunday, and WE CAN'T WAIT to see you! Services are at 10:00AM and 6:00PM, and we are joined today by Evangelist Matthew Crider! See you soon!
